Day 1

Hmmm, I've never written a blog before, so here goes.

This is my first day on the 5:2 diet - I have put on weight after an operation and I really need to shed some lbs... feeling OK so far - mind you I'm only a few hours in to the diet. Spending the morning researching what makes 500 calories and making a spreadsheet of things I eat most often to how many calories they have as I have no idea! I have done SW previously with success but just can't seem to get going with it this time round. A colleague has lost over a stone on the 5:2 and looks great - so here goes! I've read the book and just ordered the recipe book - quite looking forward to the challenge... (I think!).
